yeah, no ! :d

Really disappointing display from the team yesterday, t looked like the guys met only one week before the match for the first time  Anyway, let them enjoy their win, because you know...it´s not important to win the first match, the most important is to win the last match :p

did you go to the arena or did you just watched the game on TV?

by the way, tonight also the Swiss, German and Austrian Leagues are going to start, even if the game of the day is scheduled in the KHL, the everlasting battle between SKA and CSKA, which I'm enjoying right now (thanks to the Czech/Slovak TV, Sport2 HD )...

Šimon Nemec the defencer of HK Nitra became yesterday during the HK Nitra - MAC Budapest Ujbuda match the second youngest player ever to play in our National Championship. Yesterday he had exactly 15 years 6 months and 29 days. :yes

p.s. I gave a look to the huste.sk website...it looks that they're not going to stream the Extraliga anymore...

other than the STV matches, do you know if (and in case where) the other games are going to be available (for free, with or without VPN it doesn't matter)?

One good news for you, since tomorrow Sport 1, Sport 2 will also cover our Extraliga, with 1 match per round (Tuesday, Friday ad Sunday), so 3 games per week. they starts tomorrow by the game Slovan - Nové Zámky and Friday the big game Košice - Banská Bystrica. https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/412738/slovenska-tipsport-liga-mieri-na-televizne-stanice-sport1-a-sport2/

RTVS will still be the favored one and will have the first choice to select whch match they want broadcast on Sunday. They announced it today,

Sport 1 and Sport 2 will cover the whole season of the Extraliga, meaning also every day of the Play-Offs + you can follow there the whole season of SHL, CHL, and as usual KHL

In other hand you were right, Huste.sk sadly lost the internet rights for the Ligue, they are now in the Czech betting company Tipsport.cz/sk, all matches are streamed there but it´not for free anymore, you have to bet at least 1.20 EUR per month to be eligible to watch the streams  (the first 7 days after registration and creating your new account are however for free).

This btw started an unbelievable reactions among the public and the discussions forums are going all mad and asking for Lintner head, after he sold the rights to them, because according to our laws you are forbidden to bet (or playing any hasard game) until you are 18, so basically the u18 population here can not watch our extraliga on web, because they are not allowed to create an account in this betting company and play :lol:https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/412095/tipsport-liga-na-internete-ak-mate-menej-ako-18-nepozriete-si-ju-a-nebude-zadarmo/

Betting at least €1,20 per month...so assuming you're just gambling on 50/50 bets, that's like paying 20 cents a month. Surely that's not such a huge problem? :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

THE PROBLEM

is if you are still not adult, you´ll not be allowed to gamble, because according to our new strict anti-Gambling laws, you have to create an account (and here come the real problem, you have for that to send a copy of your ID Card, so  People under 18 don´t have any chance to outwit the system. If they want to watch the matches of their favorite teams, they will be left to the help of their elder relatives.

I'm happy to see ,ore games on TV, but this thing of the web rights to a (foreign) betting company sucks...sucks big time! :hairpull:

and with this rule for the under-18, this is like beating your own "jewels" with a baseball bat...:wall:

they are basically cutting out the future of the game, the new generations (who normally follow very few sport events, but if they want, they do it almost only via web, for sure not buying pay-tv subscriptions -at least here in Italy the trend is this)...

sometimes it's really complicated to understand the greediness of the sports leagues' officials...they just can't look beyond the immediate thirst for money instead of taking decisions good for the development and the future of the discipline they're administrating...and as an overall sports fan, that's really frustrating...:nopompom:

Ah, right. That sounds like a bigger problem for some young people.
