Yeah, she's getting better and better every year:

2017 WCh: 4:05.75 (6th)

2018 ECh: 4:03.57 (2nd)

2019 WCh: 4:01.31 (4th)

I wouldn't be surprised if she goes under 4:00 at the Olympics, which should be enough for a medal. I doubt that she can beat Ledecky and Titmus, unless some miracle happens.

Agreed, i thought you meant that she would win gold ...

Normally sub 4:00 should be enough for a medal, but you never know what Smith and the chinese girls (who are even younger than Kesely) will do next year.

Where are people seeing the detailed results?  The FIna page is not being updated.

Don't know what you mean, but maybe this helps?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

There's a Brazilian swimmer who recently became an American citizen, Felipe Lima. He stated in an interview he wants to represent the United States in the future. This year he represented Brazil in 100 m breaststroke. He didn't even make the cut to the semifinals. ;)
