mrv86 2,924 Posted August 6, 2019 #13 Share Posted August 6, 2019 For those not familiar with the competition system in swimming in place since the 2011 Games, the top 8 advance to "A" final, while the nest 2-8 swimmers compete in the "B" final. The exception are the "distance" events, which are swam in heats, the "slower" one being swam at the end of the morning session, the "faster" at the finals session.
