ASIA qualifying round for AFC Futsal Championship 2020 with 14 of 16 already qualified: Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan Iran, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan (Hosts) the remain two spot for the winner of matches: Mongolia vs Korea Republic and Vietnam vs Myanmar AFRICA qualifyng for Futsal CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2020 with two nations withdrawal before the starts (Cameroon and Cape Verde) and automatic qualifying for: Guinea and Equatorial Guinea EUROPA 2nd round qualifying: 16 nations (winner and runner-up of each group) go to elite round OCEANIA OFC Championship in New Caledonia: the winner will go at FIFA FUTSAL WC 2020 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Following the decision, all matches involving Mauritius are canceled leaving Group A with three teams Morocco, Equatorial Guinea and Libya. Meanwhile, the CAF Organising Committee will decide on the standings of the group in due time. Mauritius joined the Cup as replacement following the withdrawal of South Africa a political decision, after Morocco insisted on hosting the tournament in Laayoune which is in disputed Western Sahara. Italy sometimes struggles against lower European teams, Belarus is also a good team, even play-off berth is not guaranteed for Italy. and in group 3, Russia now needs to beat Croatia by 2 goals to qualify. Azer-brazil-jan also still has a chance for playoffs, but they have to beat Slovakia first. there are also 2 Iranian players in their squad it was 4 in the previous round btw I really think Europe should have more quotas, 8 or 9 at least.
