What a day, tour and year for Slovenian cycling.  An astounding attack by young Pogačar in today's stage. Primož Roglič with Slovenia's first Grand Tour win. :champion: Two Slovenian riders on the same grand tour podium. Three Slovenian grand tour podiums this year. (None before this year)

Roglič:bowdown:x5. Former ski jumper, now grand tour winner.

Pogačar :bowdown:x10. Just because he is only 20 years old, for his performance today and three stage wins in his first grand tour. What a cyclist he can become. :cheer:

(Of course there is still one stage left, but hopefully nothing dramatic will happen :fingers:.)

It does depend a little on the situation. Steven Kruijswijk crashed while being nearly sure of the Giro win a few years ago, and his opponents definitely didn't slow down. However, I've got no problem with that: he crashed because of his own mistake and staying on your bike is simply part of being a road cyclist. It's a different thing when you lose time because some people in front of you fell and you just got held up.

And when people are crashing in front of you on a downhill and there’s no way to avoid it.

Man, Pogacar's show today would have been impressive if he was a 5-time GT winner already, what a ride for the ages

It was already sure after yesterday of course, but now it's official: Primoz Roglic and Jumbo-Visma won the Vuelta

Fabio Jakobsen won the final sprint thanks to some epic work by Quick-Step in the final kilometers. Holy smokes, Cavagna destroyed the asphalt by pulling everyone up to over 70 kmh  Then Stybar came in and Richeze showed what an awesome leadout he is by piloting Jakobsen through every potential problem in the last kilometer, that was impressive.
