Federer91 2,134 Posted April 12, 2019 #61 Share Posted April 12, 2019 Very tactical win for Taybe, not much of an attack, just what was needed. She is just a different wrestler this past year. Very smart and confident, no memory of all those silver and bronze medals, when she was stupidly losing titles left and right. Keep working girl. MHSN 3,153 Posted April 13, 2019 #64 Share Posted April 13, 2019 3 one-sided final so far. 3 golds for Russia, that was really a wrestling lesson from Vlasov for that poor German guy

MHSN 3,153 Posted April 13, 2019 #66 Share Posted April 13, 2019 Always nice to see Heiki "doing nothing" Lucky goes home empty handed. as usual he did nothing in bronze medal match, his opponent also did nothing . for weird magical reasons cautions usually go in his favors but this time it was against the host nation Romania so no, not this time. phelps 6,781 Posted April 13, 2019 #67 Share Posted April 13, 2019 I just can't believe to see "grandaddy" Timoncini in the Bronze Medal match of the -97kg class... he already announced his retirement after Rio...he was already coaching our youngsters and suddenly decided to comeback (after we already found his replacement in the former Junior World Champion originally from Georgia, Nikoloz Kakelashvili) and now he's in a place where he has only been once in his prime days... surely, the lucky draw did most of the job...but he only lost 3-1 after being 1-0 ahead after the end of the 1st round vs Evloev in the semis and after beating a world medallist like Baldauf in the early rounds...so, maybe it's not only about luck... if he wins the bronze medal tomorrow, we will end the Europeans with a medal in each of the 3 styles...I don't remember when it was the last time it happened (if it ever happened before)... Daigoro won his Bronze Medal match against the Turkish guy and the miracle was there... It might be a small thing overall, but it's a great joy for me and a great achievement for our poor wrestling team...I'm so happy...
