Portugal has only once advanced after being behind (1966)

And how often have they been behind in a KO match?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

5

So I'd say 1 out of 5 is rather normal, considering the fact your chances to advance are significantly smaller once you are behind :p

Last time someone scored against Uruguay at the WC was James for Colombia 4 years ago in Brazil lol...

Also the last time anyone scored against Uruguay in international match was Schaub of Austria in November 2017 + the last time anyone scored a goal against Fernando Muslera in the URU goal was his own teammates Gaston Silva and Diego Godin in the URU 4-2 win in Bolivia in the last WC qualifier match in October 2017. From there until todays URU-POR half time it´s exactly 591 minutes when Muslera is unbeaten in URU team
