Rules

Erase "Yes" or "No", depending on what your answer for each single bet will be. If you want to answer a bet with "Yes", you have to erase the word "No", leaving only "Yes" as your answer.

  • Overwrite the "X" with a number between 1 and 10. Those will be the points you distribute for a specific bet. If you win a bet, you will win the amount of points you gave for that bet, but be careful, if you lose the bet, the amount of points you gave that bet will be taken away from your overall points in this contest.

  • You can't leave out a bet. All bets must be given minimum 1 point. 10 points per bet are the maximum.

Example

"Norway will win gold in both Men's and Women's Individual Sprint"  [YES - 4]

- If you choose “Yes” and Norway wins gold in both Men's and Women's Individual Sprint, you will win the bet and get - 4 points.

- If Norway doesn’t win while you said "Yes", you’ll lose the bet and points - 4 points lost.

- If you choose "No" and Norway wins gold in both Men's and Women's Individual Sprint,, you will lose the bet - 4 points lost.

- If Norway doesn't win and you said "No", you will win the bet and points - 4 points won.

You have a total of 200 points to distribute for all 56 bets. You don't have to use all 200 points if you don't want to, but you can't go above 200 for all 56 bets. Use your points wisely.

The user with the highest amount of points at the end of the Championship will be declared the winner. Should there be more than one user with the same amount of points, the first priority will be the amount of bets won, then the highest scores won in those same bets.

If a bet is already decided before the start of the WCH (due to injury of an athlete) that bet will be eliminated from the contest and all users will be asked to re-distribute the points they invested in this bet, if an injury of an athlete happen under 24 hours before the deadline, February 20th, h. 12:30 (GMT +1), or during the WCH, the bet will count. If an user is unable to edit his/her post before the start of the Championship, then those points will be lost for the final count.

You can only enter the contest before the start of the Championship. February 20th, h. 12:30 (GMT +1), will be considered the deadline. You can’t enter the contest after that and you can't edit your posts after that.

Every contestant MUST HIDE their own predictions. To do that, you only have to delete the space between the bracket "[" and the text "hide" in "[ hide]" at the beginning of the prediction post. Do the same with "[ /hide]" at the end of the prediction post. The hidden content will appear to other users as follows:

If you have any comments, thoughts or questions concerning this bet contest, problems with format, editing, questions etc... you can contact me, the contest manager, via Personal Message.

Hopefully many of you will participate in this contest.

The final words from me will be, good luck to all participants! :hatoff:
