Olympian1010 7,470 Posted October 23, 2019 Author #92 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Just now, Olympian1010 said: @Vojthas Did the ISU publish the “stand-by” list for reallocations yet. It looks like they already added the known reallocations for now. It just took me a while to figure that out. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,470 Posted October 23, 2019 Author #93 Share Posted October 23, 2019 looks set for their first winter YOG appearance. I would be willing to bet that quota gets reallocated (unless they’ve already confirmed it (I a bit confused by the process)) “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,470 Posted October 23, 2019 Author #94 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Also, while the skating quality will be higher, we will not see the likes of or this time “Sport has the power to change the world. The reserve list is in the same document, but as you noticed later the reallocations are already counted here.
dcro 10,179 Posted October 23, 2019 #96 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Looks like Georgia could be the 10th team nation in Beijing, and thus follow footsteps of Great Britain and Israel. #banbestmen
Olympian1010 7,470 Posted October 24, 2019 Author #97 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Alright, so the first IBSF qualification series races take place this week. Below I’ve posted the nations that are going for qualification (and least in Europe). There will be 4 races for each event in Europe, and then a further 4 races for each event in North America. Athletes must participate in at least 4 races to be eligible for YOG. The IBSF will have a points list where you can keep track of the qualification process. *These are NOT quotas, just the countries attempting qualification Women’s Skeleton: Men’s Skeleton: Women’s Monobob: Men’s Monobob: “Sport has the power to change the world. heywoodu 13,540 Posted October 24, 2019 #98 Share Posted October 24, 2019 It's a little sad to see there's not a single Dutch athlete trying qualification. Even Liechtenstein tries in three (!) events, come on. I'm a little too lazy to check, but I thought they at least have one who is pretty promising, but I might be wrong. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Vojthas 947 Posted October 24, 2019 #99 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Good job @Olympian1010 If you're so much into such things, could you please do the list of nations/athletes who completed the 2018/2019 season's condition of being eligible to fight for it (C2. of this document)

Well there are another 2 races in Germany, but that would mean they’d need to attend events in the US/Canada “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
