There are some isotopes of mercury which are radioactive, one of them undergoes beta plus decay (positron) and produces gold (alchemist's dream came true!) As for the video, the mirror used might be made of some amalgam of mercury (alloys of mercury and other metals). Those do not reflect mercury, so "red mercury" is not red mercury. It is just same, good, old, always evaporating toxic mercury. If swallowed not too dangerous, if inhaled, may be deadly. So, no mystery at all.
