phelps 6,858 Posted April 28, 2019 #22 Share Posted April 28, 2019 "guess what? I'd better come out of retirement...maybe I'm not that old and I'm so bored by doing nothing all day long to enjoy after-fencing life"... this might be what Kim Jung Hwan thought when he read about the Sabre Grand Prix coming to "his" Korea... and well, after a few months of doing nothing (in fencing terms, of course), he's still quite good, as he got on the podium in the first competition since last year's world champs... meanwhile, the Italians had another day at the office...which means that they weren't even close to get on the podium... Andry84 76 Posted April 28, 2019 #23 Share Posted April 28, 2019 In fencing is difficult, very difficult to come closer to the podium than losing in quarterfinal.....

phelps 6,858 Posted May 19, 2019 #30 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Inna "the Queen" Deriglazova at the moment is just too strong for anybody...even with a good start, Alice Volpi couldn't do anything against her class...it's 6 wins out of 8 events for her this season... but let's see if she can lose the most important competition of the year once again later this Summer...
