Slovakia missed the quarter-finals in ice hockey so lots of people want to cheer up hckosice. More seriously it's always fun when a country with no history in a sport suddenly finds somebody who can compete at the highest level. I'm looking forward to handball stars from Togo, world class marathon runners from Iceland and a superstar of German cricket.

Monzanator 3,593 Posted May 27, 2019 #45 Share Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) Adrian Meronk finished 3rd in the Czech Challenge in Brno this weekend (his third Top 10 finish in 5 Challenge Tour events this season) and sits 6th in the CT rankings. Currently #404 in the world. So this is where we stand in this sport Unlike Czechoslovakia we completely abandoned golf during the communist regime. Dragon 1,690 Posted May 27, 2019 #46 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Just to explain why I post Nosferatu's rankings. His are a more accurate projection of Olympic qualification than the official rankings because he eliminates results that will not count by the end of the qualification period. He's getting well known at it https://olympics.nbcsports.com/2019/05/16/nosferatu-golf-rankings/ Wumo
