I am considering Manu to start in both events. We have only one quota in 25m. Yeshashwini won it in absence of Manu (MQS - 580 easily the 2nd best qualifying) And then we have Abhishek and Saurabh to partner them. But, must say this is the best period in Indian shooting. First time we are near the top of medal chart consistently at World level. Anjum is currently world number 2 in 10 m air rifle why would you swap her 10m air rifle quota away ...... i think if we get a 25M quota in the asians we would swap it for 1) the 10m air rifle mens second quota just in case we do not get this in the asians - this will allow us to field our second mixed rifle team or 2) fill in the second rapid fire 25 m place for anish / arpit / adarsh if any of them do not make it or 3) select a shotgun shooter / 3 position missed quota in rifle strength does not come from physical capacity but from an indomitable will. - Gandhi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Our shotgun team is hopeless, so no point in swapping for them. Anjum is an amazing shooter but personally I believe Elavenil and Mehuli are better than her in 10m. Anjum is clearly our best shooter in 50x3 but I rank her as 4th best in 10m. So, I believe that such a swap would be best for us.
