dcro 10,172 Posted June 28, 2019 #21 Share Posted June 28, 2019 Nice quality live stream from Strzegom. They even have the trending score displayed on-screen, which is a welcome change compared to the earlier stages. #banbestmen

dcro 10,172 Posted June 29, 2019 #23 Share Posted June 29, 2019 Standings after cross-country: 90.40 114.10 122.70 158.20 162.70 188.60 1093.90 2058.60 This disaster for Sweden will likely balance out the season's standings between the nations that are seeking Olympic qualification. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted July 29, 2019 #24 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Camphire in Ireland hosted the latest stage this weekend. New Zealand won, in front of Ireland and Italy. After 4/7 stages Italy leads the season's standings with 290 points. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted August 11, 2019 #25 Share Posted August 11, 2019 Stage 5 (Haras-au-Pin, France) results... 124.90 128.60 148.50 160.20 163.10 175.60 177.90 Very useful second place for Italy, especially considering that both Sweden and the Netherlands had a poor showing. If they don't succeed at the Europeans, Italians will probably take the Nations Cup slot. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted September 2, 2019 #26 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Ranking of unqualified nations after 5/7 stages... 315 (with discard 270) 300 (with discard 250) 240 (with discard 240) 95 (with discard 95) Belgium is close enough when you take into account that they missed one of the stages (best 6 out of max 7 results will count). Remaining stages will be held in Waregem (19-22 September) and Boekelo (10-13 October). #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted September 19, 2019 #27 Share Posted September 19, 2019 Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland are among other nations entered for stage 6 at Waregem. Their best combinations are missing though, as not enough time has passed since the Europeans. Even though Switzerland is currently leading the classification in terms of Olympic qualification, I kind of expect the Kingdom of the Netherlands to easily run away with a quota... heywoodu 1 #banbestmen

dcro 10,172 Posted September 21, 2019 #30 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Just now, Vojthas said: Jumping ahead of cross? Yes, it's a common occurance in the short format events (short format meaning 6-7 minutes long cross-country). These events do not require post-XC inspection, which allows the organizers to play around with the schedule. Therefore, they often prefer to end the competition with the most popular phase... Short formats are also often held over just two days. Sometimes even just one, if only a few combinations are entered. #banbestmen
