They were supposed to compete with a team of 3, but following a withdrawal they are left with individuals only. #banbestmen

I see. I thought they would have more competitors here.

Yes, it has been probably a long time since they didn't show up with a team in Aachen. Nevertheless, Germany, Denmark and Spain always send their best to this event. For them this is the final test for the upcoming championships (Europeans/Worlds/Olympics). Ireland is sending their best too, even if lacking the 4th member. Other teams usually have some mixed, but pretty strong selections. #banbestmen

dcro 10,172 Posted July 18, 2019 #36 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Irish team is doing better than I expected. Looks like the big atmosphere didn't influence Esporim and Sambuca too much. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted July 18, 2019 #37 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Standings after Day 1: 242.392% 228.174% 225.392% 223.783% 223.630% 212.891% 211.652% Ireland. If they can repeat something like this next month, then I'd say they stand a very good chance for Tokyo qualification. #banbestmen

Are they competing with their best horses here? I guess this means that Rothenberger should make the german team? Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Langehanenberg had an off day, Rothenberger will likely replace her, as he scored 81% in yesterday's non-team competition. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted July 20, 2019 #40 Share Posted July 20, 2019 It's official... I love this Irish team. Sambuca and Esporim are really cool. OlympicIRL 1 #banbestmen
