Nobody wrote that so I will. Janine Flock showed today how imprtant is knowing the track. Two terrible starts (compare to athletes like Hermann, Nikitina or Loelling) and she still was the best. Austrians are making incredible things on their own truck in Innsbruck. I still have in mind two gold medals of Kindl at 2017 Luge WCh.

Well, if no one else, Gleirscher showed that Austrians can do well outside too. Flock also almost took a medal in Korea. She would have without that 4th run flop.

Just as I thought, not available in Germany

Strange, Sunday I could watch the bobsleigh on that channel and the women's skeleton (heat 1) is available too.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Did I say that Austrians are winning only in Innsbruck? :p

We all know Flock is the most random skeleton athlete in the world, with a dominant win being just as realistic as a 21st place on any given day :d

Well, you made it sound like Flock couldn't do anything on other tracks due to terrible starts. :d

I ment her yesterday start times. She lost to Nikitina (best starter) 0.6s on both starts together and she still won with her with a difference of 0.43s. Whatever you'll say, it's huuuge!

Two-time reigning champion and second placed Jacqueline Lölling skipped the two races in Calgary and so her chance at a third consecutive title, due to family reasons :(
