Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 17, 2019 #672 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Nice weather, weak wind. Doesn't look good for chaos today.
Monzanator 3,569 Posted January 17, 2019 #673 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Classic German TV directing in Ruhpolding. They miss JTB to focus on Benedikt Doll closing on the finish. And Doll missed T.Boe's time by less than 2 secs.
Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 17, 2019 #674 Share Posted January 17, 2019 (edited) Looks like Johannes win, but at least it won't be huge one, few seconds or so. Hope Tarjei will prevail though, but that's hard to expect. /edit: yeah, from -4 or so to +5 now. Edited January 17, 2019 by Kirkpatrick

Monzanator 3,569 Posted January 17, 2019 #676 Share Posted January 17, 2019 The Ruhpolding & Oberhof races are always the same for years. TV focuses on star names no matter how good or bad they are doing, a ton of meaningless passages from the course while some less known names are shooting but we get no sight of them. Hell, let's show some trees & snow falling too! They can't even stick to the Top 10 starting because hey, let's follow a guy for the first 800 meters of the course! Werloc 3,125 Posted January 17, 2019 #677 Share Posted January 17, 2019 It appears that Sweden had lousy skis today...
Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 17, 2019 #678 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Now Vittozzi was shooting with fantastic time, but we don't see her passing through the intermediate point because we need a shot of coaches. Ridiculous.
Monzanator 3,569 Posted January 17, 2019 #679 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Vittozzi 11 secs. clear of Chevalier.
