Given how badly the Pumas played I'm not surprised you feel this way.

Yes, Argentina bad + southern hemisphere bad + England winning is always the worst combination for me. Reminds me to 2003 WC.

There's even a hemisphere rivalry? As in, someone from one side of the southern hemisphere would still be sort of cheering for a team from the southern hemisphere even if it's literally on the other side of the world? :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Yes, the northerners (as in, 6 nations teams) are pedantic as fuck. They think they rule all rugby through their clubs and economic power.

It was a big hit back in 2015 when all 4 semifinalists were the teams from The Rugby Championship.

Huh, learn something every day. On the bright side, that makes it a hell of a lot easier to always have someone to cheer for, when your own nation is out, and you run out of nations in your own continent, just look at your own one half of the world :d

I doubt anyone from Australia would have been cheering New Zealand to beat Ireland either, so it really isn't like fans care about that fake rivalry. Only some nations seem to care.

Yes, the southern hemisphere rugby countries tend to think they are the only ones who can play the game properly and often belittle the game as played in the northern hemisphere. An all northern hemisphere final will be a real shock to the system for the southern hemisphere countries and lead to a lot of soul searching.

So north thinks they rule it all and south thinks only they play it right.

Right, sure :d
