It promises to be a really exciting final. :cheer:

Werth, Graves, Perry-Glass, Bachmann Andersen and Langehanenberg can hope for a win. Werndl, Kittel, Minderhoud, Vilhelmson-Silfven and Reynolds have a good chance for a podium. Caetano, Scholtens and Lyle could be interesting threats too. Among the remaining names, Barbancon will be competing at her second finals, Isachkina will be bringing a promising young horse, Safronova will be competing outside of Belarus/Russia for the first time in her career (:d), Losos is in great shape with Aquamarijn, while Seymour will become the first ever African finalist!

Additionally, World Cup Finals will offer as much as 20 bonus points for the Olympic rankings. European championships and the Pan Ams will be the only other qualifiers with such significant bonuses.

Draw is out for the first round. There were two pots overall. Athletes from pot 1 were drawn 1-9, while athletes from pot 2 were drawn 10-18. Controversially, two of the wild card athletes (Lyle and Scholtens) somehow ended up in the more desired pot 2. Scholtens was in fact so lucky that she will get to start last.

Looks like we may have yet another Werth vs Graves showdown for the title tomorrow. DBA is the best of the rest, with a personal best, but Perry-Glass, Langehanenberg and Kittel are pretty close. Podium for Denmark would be grand though.
