dcro 10,172 Posted February 17, 2019 Author #52 Share Posted February 17, 2019 With one more stage to go, these are the provisional qualifiers from the Western European League for the World Cup Finals in Gothenburg. Helen Langehanenberg Dorothee Schneider Hans Peter Minderhoud Maria Caetano Patrik Kittel Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven Daniel Bachmann Andersen Morgan Barbancon Judy Reynolds Andersen and Reynolds only had 3 starts so far (best 4 scores count), so they can improve quite a bit and basically secure the qualification. Outside of the top 9, there is Antonia Ramel who should be able to overtake Barbancon after the Den Bosch stage. Thamar Zweistra has an outside chance as well. Additionally, Benjamin Werndl will be looking to overtake Schneider and qualify (only 3 per nations can go). He will need to be 1st or 2nd however to do that. Among other leagues, this is the current situation... Isabell Werth is qualified of course as the defending champion. Laura Graves and Kasey Perry-Glass are the likely qualifiers from the North America. Regina Isachkina and Stanislav Cherednichenko are holding the Central European spots with two more stages to go. Rozzie Ryan qualified from the Pacific League, but it doesn't look like she will be taking up the invitation. Yvonne Losos de Muniz and Tanya Seymour should be the favorites for the wild cards dedicated towards the non-league athletes. One more spot is reserved for the hosts, but looks like that one will be reallocated to the Western Europe (good news for Barbancon...). Pacific League spot could also end up in the Western Europe, which would be grand for Zweistra... There are 18 slots available in total... #banbestmen
