for mens------if updated the ranking of uci is :first 8 place (2 pass) SUI,FRA,ESP,ITA,CZE,GER,NED,AUS

Is it correct?

but he is already qualified in road race....so they doesn't need extra quota place.....why not to allow him? :d

First five nations get 3 quotas in men's. 6th-13th get 2 quotas.

yes, we have 1 quota but it will be used by our cross-country specialist. the well I don´t know how to translate it correctly "wild card" is for a athelet already qualified in another cycling section. it means just use the athlete qualified in road race also in MTB.

anyway we have to wait for the UCI decision.

why? it´s just for fun, he is not going for medal, only to compete and have some fun at olympics :d
