Besides if you say they were "lucky" then what's stopping them from being "lucky" again? Again, I'm not saying they are favoured to win a medal, but to say they have single digit percent chance of qualifying as the 25th-29th best athlete is wrong. Especially in a sport like shooting. They probably do, not everyone can have a double digit percent chance, much like you can't have ten people with a 40% chance to win a medal If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! And I think you are overestimating them for yesterday's results. Look at the qualification results...-10 from first place for Ruano, that's a huge gap... what's the chance of getting a quota in a world cup hitting 10 targets less than the first place? And 111 out of 125 seems to be by far her best result this year. There is a lot of shooters of this level around the world.
dcro 10,172 Posted November 7, 2018 #94 Share Posted November 7, 2018 Looks like Durango is a bit of a choker. She will fail to qualify here despite winning both pistol qualification rounds. hckošice 1 #banbestmen

AlFHg 330 Posted November 7, 2018 Author #96 Share Posted November 7, 2018 (edited) I suppose it is over after 50 shots, so should have earned the quota. With this quota, USA has already qualified 50 athletes to Tokyo Edited November 7, 2018 by AlFHg

JoshMartini007 2,131 Posted November 9, 2018 #98 Share Posted November 9, 2018 Going into the elimination stage, it's pretty much Beard's to lose. Perez has a slight chance.
JoshMartini007 2,131 Posted November 10, 2018 #99 Share Posted November 10, 2018 I forgot how shallow the talent in women's skeet is in the Americas. Though with that said both Rhode and English have a chance for the qualification world record if they can manage a perfect last set.

Our girl was 8th at the olympics but she is a total disaster here but even though she missed 11 shots in the first day she's still in contention for a place in final.
