heywoodu 13,499 Posted October 2, 2019 #2712 Share Posted October 2, 2019 Never mind, I hadn't seen the 15+ for Thiam yet If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,499 Posted October 2, 2019 #2713 Share Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) Just now, Monzanator said: She's a silver medal girl in the pentahlon. Not so much in the heptathlon. PB in shot put means the hype will continue until the end I wonder if BBC commentators - like the Dutch - are noobs that only look at the current standings and stuff like "she's xx points behind!" or if they actually use the forecasts like pretty much every avid multi-event follower ever Edited October 2, 2019 by heywoodu If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Which is surprising in itself, since she's without much doubt the world's second best heptathlete of the past few years. The Russians & Ukrainians are non-existent competition anymore while the US girls are also a little second tier tbh. However you can't have two bad events and count for winning a ton of medals on the global stage. Ennis struggled in SP & JV too but her PBs are significantly better anyway. KJT is just another Kelly Sotherton but even Sotherton's PB in shot is 14,66 (Ennis level) Meanwhile Denise Lewis' worst event was 200m & JV but her SP record was over 16 meters!
