Among the nations which have won medals, India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Nigeria are the most disappointing given the number of people compared to the number of medals achieved. Brazil has improved over the last few years, but I'm aware we're probably disappointing too.

:FIJ Fiji won gold in rugby sevens world cup in 1997 and 2005.

is Aruba :ARU still to be considered as a NOC? Isn't it part of the Netherlands like the Dutch Antilles?

I count as NOC the countries tha have a NOC... apparently in Aruba we have the Comité Olímpico Arubano

obviously, otherwise some of the nations stated above shouldn't be considered. I just though that also Aruba was "adsorbed" by :NED  :)

Aruba was independent from Netherlands Antilles since 80's or sth like that. Their NOC was formed before the regulations introduced in the early 90s.

:CAM won a petanque gold medal last year.

 

:MAD has won a gold in petanque as well

 

:KGZ won a muay thai title this year

 

:NCA Alexis Argüello, won the world title in professional boxing, would that count?

 

Would this count for :MLT (in sailing)
