heywoodu 13,503 Posted November 6, 2018 #36 Share Posted November 6, 2018 That's both rather amusing and kinda sad Especially sad from the driver or taxi company or whatever to go and post it online If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Finnator123 292 Posted November 9, 2018 #37 Share Posted November 9, 2018 It seems that Tomas Plekanec is doing what Pavel Datsyuk did a few seasons ago. Retire from NHL to go play in the home country for the rest of the career.

Could've guessed that the number would be bigger than 67 67 is quite good number for us, remember that before 1989 our players couldn´t legally play abroad. only a couple of them succeeded to defect and became NHL stars like the Šťastný brothers. the biggest amount of our NHLers happened during the golden era in early 2000´s. Now the number is considerably lower and much more realistic for us than for example the 40 players Slovakia had there in 2004 or 2005 List of Slovak scorers in NHL (Stan Mikita is for some reason not included in this list, even if in Slovakia he is considered as National hero and best ever slovakian player, he is still counted in historic stats as Canadian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Mikita) https://www.quanthockey.com/nhl/nationality/slovak-nhl-players-career-stats.html
