46-year old Claudia Pechstein won the German 3k title in a rather decent 4:08

It's impressive that she still wins national titles at age 46, but it worries me that in Inzell - where five Dutch skaters skated under 4:06 in the past month alone - no other German woman manages to skate sub 4:12.

Germany was a country that used to dominate women's speed skating not that long ago. :mumble:

Yeah, and still Stephanie Beckert in 2nd place, who used to be amazing for a very short period of time 7-8 years ago and has not gotten anywhere close to that level since.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Exactly, another 30-year old. Which is fine, if that 30-year old is world class, but 4:12 in Inzell isn't world class at all. And looking at the results, there are no youngsters coming through.

Top-5 qualifies, meaning Stollenga very surprisingly has qualified for the World Cup. That's really cool: she had so much troubles with her back, which even has been broken...then she came back, got injured again but never gave up and now it's rewarded :)

Where did you get those results from ? I see the link results I was using until last year (https://live.isuresults.eu/home) is not showing results anymore :mumble:

This picture just came from Twitter, I was surprised to see results of a national competition in that format :d
