phelps 6,804 Posted October 23, 2018 #35 Share Posted October 23, 2018 sad news about Per Elofsson...the former Swedish cross country world and world cup champion had a stroke a few days ago... he's alive, but now he's experiencing a lot of really big troubles and he has to face a very tough (and uncertain) rehab... https://vaaju.com/swedeneng/per-elofsson-received-stroke-cohabitation-ia-backlund-tells/ unfortunately almost all news about it are in Swedish language, this is the only article in English I could find (I admit I didn't spend much time for that, since I already read all the info on an Italian website)... good luck to him and his family... not so dramatic, but there are bad news also about Sergei Ustyugov... earlier today he fell down while training on the skirolls in Val Senales (ITA) and he had to go to the hospital... there are no official news yet about how serious the accident was, but apparently he had strong pain (and possibly further damages) to his left hand and ankle...
