Big day for a lot of nations, mostly thanks to the sheer number of medals (72 events) on the line.

Will Canada find a way to keep up with Mexico? Will Cuba make a run for a top 4 finish? Who will win the Argentina/Colombia battle? Which nations will end up in the top 10?

Out of the 72 medal events, I don't see Canada winning any of them. Most likely will be 6th by the end of the day

There are some chances in athletics and even in swimming.  Softball is possible.  Archery tomorrow is possible.

OMG Kenia Lechuga won the gold out of nowhere in rowing. Insane final 200m from her, she was 3rd and not even in the picture before that.

What a disappointment to lose this one...

I really expected the gold from Milka, i cant believe losing this gold......the hopes to defeat Cuba are disappearing

Well not out of nowhere, she's our only capable female rower... I tought she could beat the Cuban for silver, but it was indeed a surprise to win gold.
