I wonder if Uana counts them in open water which opens up an additional two spots.

So we have 34 in the pool events (18 men + 16 women) and 4 in Open Water (2 each gender), but Viviane Jungblut will also compete in the pool so that equals 37 athletes (the list is in this post). Brazil could have opted to send 2 more female athletes but the level isn't great. intoronto and thiago_simoes
intoronto 4,201 Posted June 10, 2019 #627 Share Posted June 10, 2019 (edited) has gotten a reallocated spot in cycling (this is official and I believe first official spot for the country). Belize unfortunately has not. Other changes: road/track , +1 road/track . +2 MTB +2 MTB +1, +1 MTB -2 MTB,BMX Freestyle and BMX racing -1 each BMX Freestyle +1 BMX Racing +1 declined four spots in men's road/track cycling What a complete stupid organization is Cycling Canada. Completely stupid and run by idiots, I hope they read this. From using a lame excuse to not enter mountain biking to declining quotas! @vinipereira Edited June 10, 2019 by intoronto mrv86

I happy with the countries who received the quotas though “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 13,540 Posted June 15, 2019 #629 Share Posted June 15, 2019 @Olympian1010 @mrv86 @anyoneelse Do you happen to know whether or not USA and/or Mexico have already announced their MTB teams? I'm specifically interested in the women. mrv86 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
