hckošice 13,217 Posted April 30, 2019 Author #121 Share Posted April 30, 2019 The AHL team Grand Rapids Griffins Patrik Rybár will join our team and very likely will be the #1 starting goalie for at the World Champs, he accepted the invitation after his team lost the AHL Calder Cup Play-Offs 1st round to Chicago Wolves and since Detroit Red Wings aren´t in the NHL Stanley Cup Play-Offs he became eligible to play in Košice/Bratislava Surprisingly his nomination means also that the 3 goalies in our team are now, Rybár, Marek Čiliak and Denis Godla and the KHL Spartak Moscow goalie Július Hudáček was cut off from the team today. NHLers in team so far: Defencers: Andrej Sekera (Edmonton Oilers), Erik Černák (Tampa Bay Lightning), Christián Jaroš (Ottawa Senators), Martin Marinčin (Toronto Maple Leafs) Forwards: Tomáš Tatár (Montreal Canadiens), Richard Pánik (Arizona Coyotes), Marko Daňo (Winnipeg Jets + AHL Manitoba Moose) + 2 players from AHL forward Marián Studenič (Binghampton Devils) and goaltender Patrik Rybár (Grand Rapids Griffins)

Maybe Team Sweden will give the remaining places in the roster to players from KHL/SHL? I mean i'm sure you could use a guy like Linus Omark from Ufa.
