It's certainly not the most logical seedings, but it's how they do.
First, qualified through the Worlds, 2nd through the qualification tournaments, 3rd the host and 4th through continental championships.
Guess the theory is that qualifying through the qualification tournaments are the best after the one through the Worlds.

Got the 10km PB that I planned for today. Cut just below half a minute. Felt great but the last 2km were more mind than body. That puts me in a fine position towards my target of 1.45 on the half marathon in just below 3 months. Still a lot of work to do, but it feels great!

My schedule is filling up, but I could do Sunday night the 28th after 7pm (going to women's skateboard final before that)
Could most likely be possible. I only have the women's mountainbike that day (though it's hospitality so I thought about checking out the Clubhouse 24 as well)

I'm there from the 27th to the 7th and would certainly be ready for a meetup if we find a suitable time

Don't know if I'll call France cheaters or call the tournament rigged, but it is actually pretty damn worrying.
Nachevski/Nikolov are supposed to be one of the best pairs in the world. How can't they "dare to end the game"?
Especially worrying considering that they've been under investigation for match fixing earlier (and even then they were still active).
We've seen some unusually big misses from the refs in the tournament. I certainly hope they'll take the problem seriously.
But well... Next time it's under the supervision of Dr. Mustafa. That's when things really get worrying.

I doubt that it will make any change, but Sweden has left a protest due to Prandi's goal not being checked
-
After a great match by the refs they did not check that last goal? The feet did seem to leave the ground.

A new year also means a new season for me.
After my half marathon I registered for another in september where my target was cutting 5 minutes from my PB but a nasty fall 1½ week before made it impossible.
Got back about a month later and started training for a 5 KM PB just before christmas. It felt great before I was caught by a nasty flu/Covid or whatever in the beginning of december. Kept me out for the first half of the month, but I did manage to get 4 good runs within the last 2 weeks of december.
It's feeling fine, so tomorrow I start working towards a 10km PB in the middle of March and a good half marathon PB in the summer (hoping for a 1.45, but I wont set a target before I see how the next months work out).
Have my first small races set up with one in january and one in february.

Got the late session at Phillippe-Chatrier on the 31st. Guess that's my schedule filled

Looking at my gaps they feel rather uninteresting. Will try getting something for the 31st, looking at triathlon, tennis, table tennis or judo.
Early tennis on the 29th and something late on the 4th could be an addition

Mads Pedersen was down as well. That's two of the main favourites for the next two weekends.
Jasper Stuyven to the hospital and Girmay might also very well miss the rest of the classics.
