NRAI names teams for Asian Games

Seven quotas in Shooting till now. Lets double the number, at least.

Men's 4x400 relay was awesome. Some improvement and we are in for a medal.

Qualification for India is looking good. The qupta place through Ranking may not be easy. There should be several more for continental qualification.

Noone qualified in Women's Pistol through the Worlds. Will be difficult to medal individually and Mixed Team.

Is Russia going to compete in Asian games for Olympics qualification. If so, which games?

We can have a sizeable number of athletes in shooting; but are the prospects in archery

Great win; though we are always scpetical with the team during the Olympics.

Archery - Seems difficult to qualify even though the criteria were easier. We needed better world class players to qualify.

Shooting - Going is difficult with only 3 quotas as of now. China, USA - 10+; even Poland has 4 and Pak has 2. 

The Paris Olympics 2024 is 3 years away.

The qualifications are expected to start from next year.

What will be the number of qualifications? What will be the breakdown across sports?

How many medals can we expect?

Still not very good in Women's cat. Men's team also a bit stagnant.

On the other hand, India is growing steadily in Men's FS. Growing in female FS too, but GR remains a point of concern. 

Iran, USA, Russia, Japan (in women) were already superpowers in wrestling.

Also, what are our chances of medals in Paris 2024.

We can create a list and then track their performances.

Trials are now. Asian games is next year.

But please note it will not be an "Indian Thread", it will be an "Indian forum"   So the home page of india.totallympics.com will look more or less like Totallympics' home page. There will be less sections than here of course, and maybe for indian smaller sports like handball, pentathlon, water polo, diving etc. it won't be necessary to have one section for each of them but you could one one section for "other sports", while for big sports like badminton, shooting, field hockey etc you will have a section. But this is something we can discuss at a later stage.

But we can always come back to the main Totallympics main forum and comment on the various threads, right?
