You know what's truly incredible? China won the quota in EVERY Olympics discipline.

I really wish China has more shotgun athletes. Parents are just so reluctant to send kids to open skeet and trap ranges. The pistol and rifle ranges are making tons of money off students and amateurs while shotgun ranges next door can only stay alive on government subsidies. So unfair. I think skeet and trap are way merrier.

As far as I know the Chinese government invested very little in the sport of ice hockey, let alone the naturalization of foreigners. Some crazy tycoons who happen to be ice hockey fans pay the bill. As a taxpayer I am glad about this. The brain damage thing was aired in national TV several times and parents just refuse to send their kids to ice hockey teams. Figure skating and freestyle skiing, however, are completely different stories. You have to pay ridiculous money to get your kid trained in figure skating. I am sure nobody would care even if the Chinese ice hockey team was beaten by the US or Canada 0-200. Well, as long as it's not table tennis, Chinese people are not so crazy about sports.

Dude it's just political caricature. We have tons of Pooh in the shopping malls. Throw as many plushes as they like. Everybody has a good laugh.

Second this mate. Most ordinary Chinese fully understand that Trudeau has a reputation to uphold and any sane gov't official should not meddle with the judicial system. But the whole brouhaha was not about law and order to begin with. If the Canadian gov't would not admit they detain Meng because of political reasons to support the closest ally (US), then fine. No need to be so indignant when retaliation ensues.
