  3. Well, congratulations Holland for a new world title.
  4. Surprise: Netherlands did not win a match. Shoot-out incoming.
  5. Is Giles Scott not in the Finn competition? I don't see him anywhere in the results.
  6. A bit late but, hey @Wanderer the laser sailor from Australia is called Tom Burton. Tim Burton is a film director
  7. Well, too bad, the best team today didn't win the match. The girls couldn't convert the chances and Australia defended well. Also in the shootout we had match point but the nerves were too great for our girls (and our captain missing her penalties 3 times...) At least I get full prediction points for predicting for Australia.
  8. No. Because corruption is way too deep into AIBA. Because the results aren't serious 50% of the time. Because the best boxers don't compete at the olympics and I don't like that in any sport (men's football, Baseball, etc).

  10. Well, my city is in a middle area between subtropical and subpolar zones so there aren't that big temperature variations compared to other places. Currently 8 in winter at almost midday, which is fine I guess. I hate the summer, especially when you are in a place without AC in a very hot day.
  11. India wins handily against a weak Italy (who likely felt the blow from losing 12-1). India has been the strongest asian team for 2-3 years but this is their first good result in a world tournament, it's usually China and Korea who perform better than them against teams of other continents. They will also have good chance to win vs Ireland playing like this.
  12. The registration process to get the yog pass is open since today. I already sent my request.

  14. What? not really, it was all determined by ranking and serpentine system: pool A: (1st, 8th, 9th & 16th), B: (2,7,10, 15), C: (3, 6, 11, 14), D: (4, 5, 12, 13) The semifinal was supposed to be England-Argentina (2v3), it's just that both teams (and New Zealand too) failed to perform.
  15. Unless England loses the next game, one of Ireland, Italy or India will be in semifinals.

  17. I would never call anyone "big favorite for gold" in shooting.
  18. Riner looks closer to lose every year. He should have lost in semis last wch but referee helped him. Yes, I know it sounds silly but it's the truth.
  19. Our team is beyond pathetic. 13 PC no goal, opponent 1 shot and it's goal this tournament is probably going to be the worst disappointment of argentine sport since football WC 2002.
  20. I read today that China didn't take here their full squad, opting to save players for the Asian Games. Maybe that can explain their dismal performance so far.
  21. I give up, this tournament is impossible. I may as well have made random predictions everywhere and I would be earning more points. I don't remember any hockey competition like this, it's normally a very predictable sport.
