  2. Some news from ODECABE - CACSO: The first edition of the Central American and Caribbean Beach Games is going to be held in 2021, with Santa Marta being the only bidder so far. The "Centennial" edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2026 is likely to be awarded to León ; they probably will use the velodrome in Aguascalientes for track cycling and held other distribute other disciplines in other cities, all located 2 hours or less from the main host; beach events are likely to be held in Puerto Vallarta or Manzanillo, which are the closest sites. Three more sports were added to the 2022 sports program of the Games: Bodybuilding , Surfing and Netball, which was likely the input of the English Caribbean countries.

  3. Well, the old boarding tracks had no future beyond a certain date. The rise of luge kinda helped bobsleigh into modern transition. The cost of building a new artificial track is still too big for just about everyone.

  4. Also, a LOT of emerging nations base themselves at Igls. You can see it every season, as Igls always has by far the longest entry lists.

  5. Bludenz in the Vorarlberg. Track will be 725m and used by juniors. It's hardly a waste of funds IMO. They still have Igls for the seniors. https://www.fil-luge.org/en/news/green-light-for-ice-track-construction-in-bludenz

  6. It's bizzarre. Apparently his wife fell yesterday, Sebastian Bley jumped to help her, but it turns out she broke an ankle and was taken for a surgery today.

  7. It sounded vaguely familiar, but not very Any word on where Tim Singer went today? I mean, I was expecting four guys to jump on that luge sled when I heard John Morgan

  10. The results are on the site, but you have to find them. From the top corner, open up the site map, click on SA Trials Tokyo 2020 and then go to the notice board (not the results).

  27. Favorite day of the year . We got between 3 and 4 inches on the valley floor, 1 foot in the smaller hills, and 2 - 3 feet in the mountains. Got the opportunity to tobogganing. Here’s a few pictures from around the house:

  28. She's a giant specialist but the federation put her on start list so as not to look ridiculous without anyone. After Worley it's pretty dire for the future.
