  2. Too bad Armenia doesn't have a chance to qualify anymore, just because it'd be pretty cool to have UEFA get that mess thrown in their face.

  8. 9,5 hours left until the draw. I'd say nobody wants to play in the Italian group and make the useless trip to Baku & back. It's safe to say this will be a one-off concept, it's a horrible idea and those big nations are extremely favored playing all the games at home. Platini's ghost can't be banished quickly enough.

  10. yeah, I know you're rooting for Silvia and why... Ferracuti was u-21 world champion a few years ago, but then she did almost nothing at senior level, even if our coaches insist to say that she's very talented and sooner or later she'll start winning also in the top class... at the moment, however, I'd rather want Semeraro to qualify for the Olympic Games, as she's definitely more ready to fight for the big medals and she still has a better mentality on the mat... Horne got a 2-month ban...he'll be back in January in Paris... (in German only, unfortunately) https://www.rheinpfalz.de/lokal/kaiserslautern/artikel/karate-jonathan-horne-fuer-zwei-monate-gesperrt/?tx_rhpnews_shownews[reduced]=true

  20. Congrats @bestmen on becoming the next host of TISC (awaiting my €200 payment to complete the deal) Hard luck @Olympian1010, I guess Satan's edition was a leap too far for TISC. And commiserations @dcro, the plus side is that your chances are increasing with every bid and thanks for showing interest once more. See you all in Algeria for TISC Annual 2020.

  21. It’s fine. Some context (though if you found it where I think you did, you’ll probably already know): In the US there is a tradition where families take nice pictures, and send them out as holiday greetings to other families (Christmas Cards). My family hates said tradition, mostly because I make it impossible to take nice pictures, and pretty much refuse to wear non-athletics clothing. Last year, I jokingly suggested that we recreate famous movie scenes to show our sense of humor. My family liked the idea and so we did. This picture is my parody of The Shinning. We also did the Lion King with our cats. With my dad and sister doing other movies too.

  27. And now the 'not virgin gymnast' drama is getting interesting after one of the famous sport news website interviewed the coaches: https://www.jawapos.com/sports/30/11/2019/dituding-keluarkan-atlet-karena-tak-perawan-pelatih-membantah-keras/ (in Indonesian) To summarize the article, the coach (who signed the dismissal letter) said that the athlete is unable to keep her performance and ideal weight. She lost badly on national trials against provincial level athlete, and she was considered to SEA Games just because one of our best gymnast injured. Also, she often got caught run away from the dorm to meet her boyfriend and lied that she was doing school work. The gymnastic federation decided to follow the coach recommendation and discharged the athlete. It looks like her mother is not happy with this and started an uproar. Just like my prediction, it is from the gymnasts' side who created the drama

  28. Both group hosts are favored to advance. It's a huge mismatch. Hell, Italy, Germany, England, Netherlands, Spain and Denmark of all teams wil play all three group games at home. The rich only get richer. Makes me wanna cheer for Belgium straight away. The only big football countries that aren't hosts is due to close geographical proximity of another big powerhouse. There's no point of a group with Spain/Portugal, Germany/France or Netherlands/Belgium because that would be a huge fraud. You get all these qualies, playoffs and whatever to be drawn alongside two major powerhouses? No way. That's why Spain/Ireland, Netherlands/Romania or Germany/Hungary groups are there because you can at least sell the false hope of beating the lesser host. This idea is just horrible every way you look at it. Platini should be fucking ashamed of this nonsense but he's lost all credibility already.

I reccomend you UEFA site, I follow the draws there always + the image quality is very high. PS: I'm proud that the draw will take place in BucharestIt's a historic day for Romania
