So Andreescu is on the verge of her first ever Grand Slam win, I wonder if Williams is able to fuck the celebrations up as well as she did with Osaka's first GS win!1 point

Your Top 3 Favourite National Anthems
hckošice reacted to Topicmaster1010 for a topic
Please keep in mind that I mostly judge national anthems based on the music itself and not so much the lyrics. Gold Medal: Azerbaijan (Azərbaycan Marşı) Silver Medal: Russia (Gosudartvennyy Gimm Rossiyskoy Federatsii) Bronze Medal: Germany (Deutschlandlied) Special Mentions: China, Israel, South Africa, Slovakia, Spain, France, South Korea, and of course if I could vote for them Canada1 point -
Excellent finish in the Brussels Cycling Classic* *which is just a very generic race, as is pretty much every race that wants to make itself look big by putting 'Classic' in the name even though nobody actually sees it as a classic.1 point

I think Egonu was top scorer for "both sides" she had something like 100 foot fouls. this Serbian team is really close to be unbeatable. Boskovic is their star but it's not just her. they have good players in every positions.1 point

Haha... yeah, I did (delightfully) notice that. Poor her! Saina has no easier draws either. She needs to chose her tournaments smartly going forward. Tho more than her seeding I am almost obsessed with Sindhu getting a top 3 billing. That could make a huge difference since most likely the first 3 seeds will by pass R16. There will be some big floaters in R16 at Tokyo. Sindhu is well on her way there thanks to 13000 from Basel. So really hopeful1 point -

the rules say it's about the ranking points...but if both are above all the rest of the field, it might well be that the Iran's NF can somehow (unofficially) decide who's going to tokyo by withdrawing the one they want to stop by the end of the OQP (for instance, saying he's unable to attend the Games because he has a long term injury)...1 point

yeah well, thankfully now when the borders are open it looks like the whole Slovakia can "easily" travel to Croatia and enjoy the sea but at the time of the communism when leaving the country was forbidden the peoples had to enjoy our fabulous lakes resorts, so you have really easily to uderstand why Slovaks loves sea1 point -

OK, the winner of the women's heat #7 is my absolute new idol...she made my day...she's from Chile and her name is Lorena Fica... for those who can't speak Italian, fica literally means "pussy" (and it's not even the medical term for that, it's the form you shouldn't use in any public speech)...1 point

For first part, as @nitinsanker said, we can't win any more quotas in 10m Air Rifle Women and 10m Air Pistol Men, hence quota winners are participating there. In other events, quota winners are not participating to maximise our chances of winning quota. Hence, Manu is not competing even in 25m Pistol and Anjum is not competing in 50x3 Rifle. And Manu Bhaker has achieved MQS in 25m Pistol. Most likely, Manu and Rahi would be starters in 25m Pistol, but if Annu or someone else wins a quota in 25m Pistol (high chance considering that 4 quotas will be available at Asian qualifiers), we can nominate Manu from that quota and Heena or Yashaswini from the 10m quota won by Manu. Or we can exchange that quota for a quota in 50x3 Women for Anjum and start Apurvi and Elavenil in 10m. There are lot of ways we can use the extra quota even if Manu and Rahi are almost sure to start. Hence, this policy to maximise the chances to win quota.1 point
