Although, having Belgium and Luxembourg, but not the Netherlands would be EPIC.

Lithuania was robbed at the end, very poor officiating.

lol, if Kosovo qualifies from that group, one of Georgia, North Macedonia, Belarus and Luxembourg will also have a spot at the Euros.

So when the US beats Brazil on Monday, it will confirm that the 2 Americas quotas go to the United States and Argentina

I think Egonu was top scorer for "both sides" she had something like 100 foot fouls. this Serbian team is really close to be unbeatable. Boskovic is their star but it's not just her. they have good players in every positions.

Hey brothers, we both really should return back our attentions to hockey and leave this thing called football to the others

In several countries (not everywhere, I believe) Wikipedia has been down pretty much non-stop since early last night. Here it worked for a few minutes now and then and only since one or two hours it seems to be working completely normal again. https://wikimediafoundation.org/news/2019/09/07/malicious-attack-on-wikipedia-what-we-know-and-what-were-doing/

Haha... yeah, I did (delightfully) notice that. Poor her! Saina has no easier draws either. She needs to chose her tournaments smartly going forward. Tho more than her seeding I am almost obsessed with Sindhu getting a top 3 billing. That could make a huge difference since most likely the first 3 seeds will by pass R16. There will be some big floaters in R16 at Tokyo. Sindhu is well on her way there thanks to 13000 from Basel. So really hopeful

@ahjfcshfghb and @phelps It's very likely you both know much more about this than I do. I never use my Eursport Player because I have access to Eurosport through a company. I just tried to answer heywoodu's question. If you say it should work outside Europe, I guess heywoodu would be very pleased with that.

the rules say it's about the ranking points...but if both are above all the rest of the field, it might well be that the Iran's NF can somehow (unofficially) decide who's going to tokyo by withdrawing the one they want to stop by the end of the OQP (for instance, saying he's unable to attend the Games because he has a long term injury)...

yeah well, thankfully now when the borders are open it looks like the whole Slovakia can "easily" travel to Croatia and enjoy the sea but at the time of the communism when leaving the country was forbidden the peoples had to enjoy our fabulous lakes resorts, so you have really easily to uderstand why Slovaks loves sea

OK, the winner of the women's heat #7 is my absolute new idol...she made my day...she's from Chile and her name is Lorena Fica... for those who can't speak Italian, fica literally means "pussy" (and it's not even the medical term for that, it's the form you shouldn't use in any public speech)...

doesn't have an official anthem nor does it have an NOC. The closest thing to an anthem is probably "Jerusalem" which is a call for social justice and doesn't glorify anything apart perhaps from the English countryside.

SVK-CRO basically confirmed that Croatia will take the 1st spot, and HUN-SVK will be incredibly important. The hype is real here, it's the most important match for the Hungarian football in this decade, even more so than the Euro 2016 play-offs against Norway, because of the 4 Euro 2020 games in Budapest.

Well @dezbee2008 might be your best chance to see a Winter Olympic sport live. I’ve heard they don’t do much skiing in Florida (though that’s where most of our speed skaters come from oddly enough)

Are you kidding me? Sindhu just won WS title at World Championships. Sai Praneeth won Bronze. Satwik/Chirag won Thailand Open just last month. We had bad 12-18 months in Badminton but past 1 month has been amazing.

Unless she misses a significant portion of the remaining season due to injury, she will qualify easily. In fact, I am pretty sure she would be seeded among top 8 at Olympics.

The sisters Jana and Dana Velďáková both retired today in their last careers races in the Košice main square. the 38 years old twins became famous worldwidely in Beijing 2008, when both as perfect twins finished at their Olympics debuts with the same scores of No Marks in their respective qualifiers in Long Jump and Triple Jump https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletics_at_the_2008_Summer_Olympics_–_Women's_triple_jump and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletics_at_the_2008_Summer_Olympics_–_Women's_long_jump

For first part, as @nitinsanker said, we can't win any more quotas in 10m Air Rifle Women and 10m Air Pistol Men, hence quota winners are participating there. In other events, quota winners are not participating to maximise our chances of winning quota. Hence, Manu is not competing even in 25m Pistol and Anjum is not competing in 50x3 Rifle. And Manu Bhaker has achieved MQS in 25m Pistol. Most likely, Manu and Rahi would be starters in 25m Pistol, but if Annu or someone else wins a quota in 25m Pistol (high chance considering that 4 quotas will be available at Asian qualifiers), we can nominate Manu from that quota and Heena or Yashaswini from the 10m quota won by Manu. Or we can exchange that quota for a quota in 50x3 Women for Anjum and start Apurvi and Elavenil in 10m. There are lot of ways we can use the extra quota even if Manu and Rahi are almost sure to start. Hence, this policy to maximise the chances to win quota.

Are you asking because you are going to Brasil? If you do, I did this. I used a VPN, connected to a Brazilian server and this happened when I tried to use Eurosport player:

So the Olympic Channel decided to make their videos literally unwatchable. Why ? well, Because of the super mighty dollar obviously. Since yesterday they completely changed the whole program, now you can not open any of the video replays without removing your addblocker and then the video is constantly stopped every 10 minutes or so by a add for toyota, coca cola etc... (sure they put you the option - skip the add) but this doesn´t help you since the add is and will automatically returning again in the middle of the video and again and again to the point it become extremely annoying and frustrating to watch it. Well done IOC ! Money above everything else

Some of us were sure about "free" quota for Kyrgyzstan. Now you can bet your money on Uzbekistan - well known Russian athletes Alise Fakhrutdinova and Alexander Savkin are confirmed to start for this country by the UIPM and they're said to participate in Budapest at World Champs under their new flag.
