Etienne Le Pen of seems to be the big favorite. I don’t believe he’s lost a single race yet. There are two fleets though, so It could come down to the medal race. You can find more information here: https://m.facebook.com/Oceania-Sailing-Federation-1422865308017236/

  9. Yeah Speed Climbing isn’t my favorite, but I love watching bouldering. It’s a sport where athletes need strength, have to be either explosive or methodical or both, and have to use their mind often. Plus, I climb at my local gym, so I fully appreciate what those climbers can do.

  12. Seven nations will compete at the premier Nations Cup event in Aachen this week - @OlympicIRL Only a limited number of teams get invited for Aachen each year, so Ireland being one of them is huge. This should be a perfect preparation for the European championships, where hopefully this team will do something of note. Detailed entries

  17. Thanks! I wouldn't say I have "endless resources". I just love watching and following athletics. My go-to site is watchathletics: https://www.watchathletics.com/schedule/cat/latest-results/. They usually have links to many athletics meetings/events during the year. Then I also check European Athletics' calender to see which meetings there are the upcoming week: https://www.european-athletics.org/calendar/index.html#date=20190716&view=month&comp= I often check IAAF's season top lists for new Olympic standards once or twice a day, just to stay a little updated.

  27. Taken directly from the qualification system: I assume that an injury will be considered as a decline of the quota so in case the world qualifier will count. But even more easily, in case an athlete gets injured the Olympic quota is simply lost and may not be reallocated

  28. If I remember good the quota will be replace with the Setubal results.

  32. Thank you... as with the men in this event, it wasn't a medal I expected as this has been our worst event since 2012. They were regular enough to earn that medal, even when the judges tried to award the Russians enough points in their last dive. Curious fact is that Paola Espinosa earned her first World Championships in this same event, with former partner Laura Sanchez, back in 2003.
