i didn't know that we have teams of water polo , this tounament in 9-11 april Group A: - US Cheminots du Maroc - ASUC Sétif (Algérie) - AS Marsa (Tunisie) - Portinado (Portugal) Group B: - CN Caballa (Espagne) - WR Sétif (Algérie) - WA Casablanca (Maroc) - CN Ben Arous (Tunisie).1 point -
qualify a team in eventing, get the remaining individual spots. However, once all reallocations are applied, I'm quite sure that both Colombia and Ecuador will qualify full teams (it's rather surprising that they didn't do so directly). Puerto Rico should be able to get an individual spot (with their Olympic combination, so no worries about the minimum requirements).1 point

China's alleged Badminton match/age fixing
up and down reacted to Griff88 for a topic
How do you want to catch someone from match-fixing? Installing spy cameras in every venue, every badminton association building, every team hotels, also in every players' and coaches' pockets? Even if you know the match is fixed, as long as there is no proof like "X instructs Y to lose to Z" you can't just ban them. (sad but true) It's not that easy.... At least referee nowadays dare to confront fishy matches and threaten them with black card, just like Li/Liu vs He/Tan in Fuzhou last year.1 point -
25 swimmers will represent Canada in Gwangju. Surprisingly more men were added to the team than women. https://swimswam.com/canada-names-25-to-2019-world-championship-team/1 point

Sweden is a back to back world champion. With his fourth world title as a skip (only the second person to achieve this) Niklas Edin is, in my opinion, without a doubt the best non-Canadian curler ever.1 point

Monday April 8th, 2019 - Round-Robin Last Day Schedule (GMT +1) LIVESTREAM (Payable) 13:00 Slovenia vs Mexico 16:30 Australia vs Spain 20:00 Great Britain vs North Korea 1) *Slovenia, Great Britain and Mexico are still fighting for Gold and Promotion to the Women´s Division I Group B, **SLO - with the best position, Slovenia will win the tournament and promotion if they defeat Mexico (doesn´t matter if in Regulation Time, or after Overtime/Penalty Shoot-Out). A OT/PSO lose may be even enough too but GB can not beat North Korea in Regulation Time. ***GBR - will qualify if they defeat North Korea in Regulation Time but Mexico must beat Slovenia (doesn´t matter if in Regulation Time, or after Overtime/Penalty Shoot-Out), even a OT/PSO win will be enough for GB if Mexico defeat Slovenia in Regulation Time. ****MEX - will qualify if they defeat Slovenia in Regulation Time and the host country doesn´t win over North Korea (doesn´t matter if in Regulation Time, or after Overtime/Penalty Shoot-Out).1 point

Pan American Games 2019
thiago_simoes reacted to intoronto for a topic
Canada will send 16 swimmers to Lima (+4 more in open water). Only 2 men were selected, meaning no relays. Canada won medals in all 3 men's relay events in Toronto 2015. https://www.swimming.ca/en/news/2019/04/07/canadas-pan-am-swimming-team-announced/ Smh, at how stupid this national federation is. Anyways, the team has some notable names, which leaves me some hope for at least one gold medal (but I highly doubt it)0 points
