  11. Poland once won Olympic medal in skeet in 1996 and nobody knew who the guy was. I'm not sure anyone has heard of him since then. I can't even remember his name now In shooting I only remember Kim Rhode and the girl who married a Chicago Bears linebacker (because I follow NFL). But I remember the Czech shooter Karolina Emmons (see, Czech Republic gets more recognition) Yeah, I forgot about tennis which is funny since I'm a tennis fan in principle haha. I thought Cibulkova has calmed down since getting married? It's not like she was all that controversial before? More like a party girl which can be said about 3/4 of the tour.

  12. Right Veronika had an amazing career, but struggled with injuries and never got the opportunity to win something really big. hopefully Petra will have better luck in her career. Cool, Martina was our biggest sport talent ever together with the canoe slalom and hockey stars of the late 90´s and early 00´s. Really ? I thought Danka is more famous worldwidely. especially when she became the youngest athlete in IOC. she had a lot of media attention everywhere. and btw how could I forget about "miss first pages" Dominika Cibulková, you hardly can open a site without finding gossip around her...

  13. Yeah, I remember Zuzulova duh, but she always injured when it mattered the most tbh. She could have achieved a lot more. Guess Vlhova will cloud her status very soon. Of course I remember Moravcova. I followed swimming since the days of Egerszegi & van Almsick and only lost interest after the space suits made the competition a joke in 2009. Don't follow much swimming since then if at all. Had to googe Bartekova, yeah, I don't follow that sport at all so I had no idea who she is

  20. This happened basically two years ago now, she released a book (autobiography) revealing a lot of weird things about practically everyone the best parts were their very very very bad relations with Veronika Vitková, she presented her litarally like a terrible bitch and her health troubles caused by the team coaches...I really suggest you to read that book

  29. I don't know if in the past it was not allowed, but surely it's quite a long time (I mean, it's many years) that you can use a longer distance to try and get an official clocking over a shorter race. The only rule as far as I know is that you must complete the full "original" distance to have your time over the shorter one to be recognized (it also happened at the Glasgow Europeans last Summer...Pernille Blume did try to get a fast time over the 50m free during the semifinals of the 100m and then did slow down badly in the second half of the same heat and finished outside the qualifying places -and she could even get a medal in those 100m free )... p.s. and when you try this kind of things you should alert the other swimmers of the same heat before, otherwise it's considered an act of disrespect...

She's been under investigation for like 5 years already. And in various cases, not just one. And no, she doesn't have the power to kill anyone. At least not anymore. Anyway, nothing ever happens with these investigations for corruption in Argentina, they are a joke. Some previous president (Carlos Menem) was sentenced back in 2001 for corruption and he was imprisoned only for one year and in his house lol.
