Except that in Cinderella the girl did nothing but stand there (well, she went to the ball, if that counts), while here the players worked their asses off and no man was needed for them to be amazing.2 points -

WCH finals: Men's singles: vs Men's doubles: vs Women's doubles: vs Mixed doubles: vs I see a pattern... Women's singles: Let me guess, China or Japan? Nope vs Can Carolina Marín make a hattrick and win her 3rd WCH title? Or can P. V. Sindhu, who has not lost a set at the WCH, win India's first gold at a WCH. No matter how the result is going to be, I just hope it's going to be a well-played match between the two. Btw good luck to @Cobi and @Dolby.2 points

Actually it is an Italian coach, Antonio Colamonici, who has revived our men's rowing. In the last 10 years we didn't have any results in this discipline, so most of the credit goes to this great coach. Grazie, Antonio!2 points

So becomming artistic, synchro swimming has also turned somehow into a nine events sport. That's fine and all. But if the european championsips want to be a real thing in the future and come up with a meaningfull combined medals table at the end (after all, a price will be given to the top nation, so they do care), some sports will have to see the number of events keep in check...1 point -

You are only saying that because the Netherlands were completely hopeless ... This is a mixed relay, so its the best reflection of a nations strength in swimming, so the only logical conclusion is that Germany is currently the best european nation in swimming.1 point -

These next weeks are crucial for the prediction contests (and quite busy for our prediction manager @Wanderer): the hot summer is consuming my unexpected leadership in the general standing but the competition is very tough. Who will be the king at the end of summer? @Dunadan the great favourite at the beginning of the year now a little under performing? @dcro who after the gold medal in the waterpolo is on fire? @chrischi08 that after the third place in the World Cup seems unstoppable? Or the outsiders @Henry_Leon or @ady48? Can't wait to see what is going to happen...1 point

I'm very happy with my victory my only regret is that one day I forgot to change the captain and I lost many points. The game is very interesting but also very difficult, hope that next year the totallympics league will have more competitors so we have more fun. I would like to post more but my problem is my job: I spend all my day before a computer for work (unfortunately I'm paid to work not to post on totallympics) and in the evening I prefer to avoid computers in order to rest my eyesight.1 point
