Probably I should report this post...anyone who reads this but doesn't know the background could eat too many tortellini to improve his swimming abilities and die of overdose.

Maybe he had some tortellini before the finals If you know what I mean...

Fun Fact: German online newspaper welt.de did a research on this and asked FIFA. Apparently 2nd place would be detrmined via fair-play-Points if Germany and Sweden win their matches 2-1. Here you can see all possibilities for german team:

Hard to tell at this point. I will set a poll after FIFA World Cup and let forum users decide whether they are interested in any of those events. Cause I wouldn't like to run a contest for a several people only.

This guy... He was fined for this with $15,000 Like that is going to have any effect on him

Uruguay with a clean sheet in group stages. Last teams who did the same thing were Portugal and - Uruguay, in 2010.

Uruguay is going to win against a European team for the 3rd match in a row at the WC, quite interesting change for them since they didn´t managed to beat a European team for 13 World Cup games in a row before the Brazil 2014 world cup... and a small fun fact, when we are speaking about the oldest players, before today the record holder was the legendary Roger Milla from Cameroon who scored his last goal at the World Cup in that match as the Oldest player to play a game (once again before today ) was the only goal of against Russia in a defeat 1-6 in USA 1994 World Cup, and guess against who he scored that goal, against Stanislav Cherchesov, nowadays coach of Russia (This was his only match at the World Cups ever)

By the way, there are still 7 groups with teams currently in 0 points. If Egypt and SA finish tied, 6 will remain. The biggest number of teams finishing with 0 points was at 1990 WC with 4 teams.

and probably this Colombian referee will be a bit richer tomorrow. or maybe a lot richer. and this is what we always see with Saudi Arabia when they play in Asia. but didn't expect that in a world cup match !

3rd Red Card of the tournament for Smolnikov after two yellow in some 8 minutes , it does not looking good for the host hype at all right now

Thanks, but the original post was obviously a joke that no one would have taken seriously.

I only ask for consistency...I did not receive any explanation about the deletion of my post and honestly it's difficult to miss that it was a joke identical to dozens/hundreds of posts in this forum...from now on I will report them all expecting them to be deleted.

I don't think improving .33 seconds in 1year in 100 free is an eneough reason to be suspected of being doped , some thing very ordinary in swimming

Thanks for the update, I’d like to add that our Sport Climbers did very well at the World Cup in Vail. I don’t remember the results off the top of my head, but I believe both a US man and woman got a podium. The US shooters have also had a good World Cup season, with a few wins in shotgun events. The US woman preformed well in the French Open, with both Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys making the quarterfinals. Stephens went on to take 2nd. The US also had a few paddlers reach the semi-finals at this weeks ICF Slalom World Cup 1. The US did not do great at the Pan American Handball Championships.

Have to admit that the games are really boring. Even if the level is not the best at least one expects in a muti sport event that the locals at least would fill the stadium. But seeing empty stadiums I feel bored. Poor interest. The Asian indoor martial arts games 2017were far better

At this point it's a sure thing that shameful management of official website is a must at the Mediterranean Games.

but if they don't compete internationally they won't improve, from somewhere is needed to start
