  1. and as promised, at the end of the European Juniors here we are with the final summary... first of all, the key point of the individual competitions was the unexpected domination of the French team with 3 out of 6 Gold medals... meanwhile in the Team events it was Russia to sweep half of the titles up for grabs... Italy and Hungary confirmed themselves as the usual powerhouses with a couple of Gold medals each and Poland and Germany took the remaining top honors (one each)... so, this is the list of the new Junior European Champions: Men's Individual Epee: Gergely Siklosi, HUN Women's Individual Epee: Nadine Stahlberg, GER Men's Individual Foil: Maximilien Chastanet, FRA Women's Individual Foil: Erica Cipressa, ITA Men's Individual Sabre: Charles Colleau, FRA Women's Individual Sabre: Manon Brunet, FRA Men's Team Epee: Hungary Women's Team Epee: Russia Men's Team Foil: Russia Women's Team Foil: Poland Men's Team Sabre: Italy Women's Team Sabre: Russia and this is the final medal table for the Junior competitions: France 3-2-3 Russia 3-2-3 Italy 2-4-4 Hungary 2-0-1 Poland 1-1-3 Germany 1-1-2 Czech Republic 0-1-1 Israel 0-1-0 Ukraine 0-0-1 finally, this is the overall medal table (Cadets + Juniors): Russia 7-6-6 Italy 6-8-6 Hungary 5-1-2 France 3-3-6 Germany 1-2-4 Israel 1-2-0 Poland 1-1-5 Czech Republic 0-1-1 Romania 0-0-3 Austria 0-0-1 Turkey 0-0-1 Ukraine 0-0-1

  2. and why wasn't it forbidden earlier since it appeared in 1970s? some countries even don't admit meldronat's efficiency and don't sell it because it's useless. well, it has some effect which matches its low price, that is why it is popular in Russia among athletes who have heart problems or want to recover quicker after trainings. WADA's logic to forbid meldronat was that people who take it might also take other drugs. well, it looks like people who have knives at home might be killers. I don't mind that mildronat is forbidden, but the appearing cases just show how stupid athletes are and don't notice that something gets forbidden. imagine that aspirine gets forbidden. i'm sure that many athletes around the world would make mistake and continue taking it. and they will be concidered as cheaters because they took a medicine a month after it became illegal

  3. I dont really understand your point ... Do you think that all russian athletes are doped? Otherwise there will always be some athletes who didnt dope and will be banned, because other russian athletes doped. Sharapova lives in the US for a couple of years now, so you probably cant really say that she is part of the russian system. I dont think that this has any importance for the IAAF and i still dont believe that the IAAF really thinks about banning Russia. Russian athletes and coaches are still competing as if nothing happened, the recent documentary by Hajo Seppelt shows that nothing really changed. To be honest i dont think that its even possible to completey change the russian sport system in only about a year, so IAAF either has to ban Russia or they just have to pretend that Russia really solved all the problems.

  4. doctors here say that it's a useless thing, just a placebo. it hepls to someone feel better after hard trainings and the only advantage is extremely low price

  7. The new one, without a doubt. Obviously it's sad that all old content is gone....not so much results that can be found anywhere on internet, but unique things like the all-sports medal tables and the threads about which nations have yet or not yet qualified for Rio. Discuz however was so hopeless in terms of options...I mean, for crying out loud, it did not even have a "spoiler" option Also it's cool that the other had so many results (although discussing was often impossible because people just had to urge to post every single result of every single heat of every single event for World Championships or World Cups), but without a working "search" function, that's 90% useless... On this forum we have both the search and spoiler function which I think would greatly increase the whole results thing: - Post results in a spoiler --> They won't get in the way of discussions and won't take you forever to scroll down the page - Simply use the search function when you want to find certain results Perfect
