The journey of the 2024 Summer Olympics Marathon will be reveal on October 5th. According to some rumors, the race could pass by "la cote des gardes", a famous hill in the famous running race Paris-Versailles. The marathon could also pass by Versailles Castle, Saint Cloud and Ville d'Avray, in the west of Paris.

The construction of the roof at the Suzanne-Lenglen court (second biggest Roland Garros court) has started. Outside of tennis and para-tennis, il will also host the boxing tournament.

I thought Chatrier will host boxing and Suzanne-Lenglen just the tennis? It's amazing how RG takes so long to get a roof and now they're already getting a second.

No, it's the other way around. Chatrier will be saved for the last tennis rounds when Lenglen will start being used for boxing bouts (early boxing stages will be held in another arena)

Paris marathon course unveiled- I like that the public will get to run it, but as a recreational 5K runner I'll be happy to watch it on TV :)

Wait, they are still going with this?

Holding a mass marathon in the scorching heat of Summer seems like an awful, terrible idea...

The video question reportedly explained these were to be seen more as a coat of arms for each event (can’t remember the French term used.) I saw some claims they’ll animated like Tokyo’s as well.

If this is the real deal, it’s certainly a fresh take on the pictogram genre.

I believe the Reddit discussion was started by this thread on Twitter.
