Yeah but those schedules were just...odd. Having the bronze medal match after the final means really nobody gives a flying fuck anymore (maybe outside some people in the two countries) instead of only a few people

Weird request as well, I get USA wants the final at their best possible time, but that shouldn't be much of a problem while still having the bronze medal match before it.

It's extremely odd.  But that's the concession they chose to make to have the game on in primetime in North America.  The other option would have been to play the men's bronze medal game the same day as the women's gold medal game, but I guess they didn't like that one as much.

what would happen if yuesey lost by some accident the semifinal (I know not very realistic, but hypothetically), will they rechange the schedule in that case or it is definitive ?

if the USA don't make the Gold Medal match, there's no problem with their TV as they would never show on TV the national shame of playing for a minor placing...

it's extremely odd (actually, it's crazy, a shame if you like)...

they could and should have scheduled the Bronze Medal match the day before (if they don't really want it at 9 a.m. local time in the same day), considered that the semifinals are set 2 days earlier...

Verys strong. But some better options could be Théo Maledon and Adrien Moerman?
