heywoodu 13,504 Posted June 20, 2016 #142 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Someone on a Dutch forum has made a list of current combined rankings for specific possible mixed double teams (the goal being of course to see whether or not Rojer/Bertens could be in). The question and the part where Totallympics comes in: does anyone know whether or not these nations have extra standards for selecting their players? Also, have some of these players already said they're not going to play mixed doubles? 1. Spain Nadal - Muguruza (6) More options possible, with Suarez Navarro being the only other possibility on the women's side.2. Switzerland Federer - Hingis (4) More options when throwing Wawrinka and Bencic in the mix.3. Great-Britain A. Murray - Konta (18) J. Murray - Konta (18) Only possible with Konta on the women's side.4. Serbia Djokovic - Jankovic/Ivanovic (25 or 26) Only possible with Djokovic on the men's side.5. Czech Republic Berdych - Kvitova/Pliskova/Safarova/Hradecka/Hlavackova Only possible with Berdych on the men's side.6. France A ton of options: Gasquest/Tsonga/Monfils/Simon/Mahut/Herbert - Garcia/Mladenovic7. USA Several options: Bryan/Bryan/Socks- Williams/Williams/Keys/Stephens/Mattek-Sands/Atawo/Spears/Vandewege8. Australia Peers - Stosur (26) Stosur is needed.9. Germany Kohlschreiber - Kerber (30) Only option10. Romania Tecau - Halep (11) Mergea - Halep (16) Tecau - Begu (34) Tecau - Niculescu (31)11. India Bopanna - Mirza (11) Only option12. Poland Matkowski - A Radwanska (24) Kubot - A Radwanska (25) Only possible with A Radwanska.13. Belarus Mirnyi - Azarenka (32) Only option Rojer and Bertens together have a ranking of 34 by the way If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! vinipereira 3,037 Posted June 21, 2016 #147 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Em 20/06/2016 at 18:23, Майкл disse: I guess either Melo or Soares will pair up with Pereira. Host nation has one secured place, as far as I know. I think you're right, if we have a place Pereira will play with Melo or Soares (probably Soares, who has a good record in Mixed Doubles). Brazilian tennis confederation has entered a total of 7 athletes for the Olympics Games. Except for Melo/Soares in Doubles, and Bellucci/Pereira in Singles, others will depend on invites and/or withdrawals. They are (and possible events): Thomaz Belluci: Men's Singles/Doubles (with Sá) Bruno Soares: Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles* (with Pereira) Marcelo Melo: Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles* (with Pereira) Teliana Pereira: Women's Singles/Doubles (with Gonçalves) and Mixed Doubles* (with Melo or Soares) Not yet guaranteed: Rogério Dutra Silva: Men's Singles Paula Gonçalves: Women's Doubles André Sá: Men's Doubles
