2024 Olympics - Day 6 (August 1)

Recommended Posts

Just catching up here.

Our jukodas really didn't show up here (even Deguchi sort of fell ass backwards into her gold).

So close for Dunfee, again.

Swimmers getting it done.

Can we please stop facing the home team every single sport?

    • LOL 7 october  , they kill palestinians with all atrocity since 1948 , its the fault of 7 october    hamas didnt kill any kid , they kidnapped some people who were soldiers in their past life who killed palestinians frostly , no one tortured them or treats them badly ...go check how are things with Palestinians in jail
    • Meanwhile, a bit of a (of course not really, but it sounds like) sarcastic reaction sent from probably the deepest bunker in the region:
    • Their resurgence is mainly because they manage to pick off more Dutch players, who are born here and have one parent far in their lineage. I mean, it's allowed and all and good for them, but they play for Indonesia only because they are sure they will never play in the Dutch national team. For me it's a clear reason to not care for Indonesia much tbh, because it isn't actual Indonesian players.
    • The thing about the  attacks is that the intelligence behind them - who is going to be where on a given night - is very obviously coming from  sources, so there's liable to be a bit of a frosty atmosphere at the next Revolutionary Guards office party.   Also, a bit of a lack of content for the Iranian equivalent of Homes and Gardens magazine.
    • Next up - Stockholm  on Sunday.  Featuring no stunt distances, and quite a few rematches from last night.   Programme – Stockholm
    • Reminds me of the Last big attack in October that resulted one casualty—> a Palestinian man who was hit by a rocket debris, those attacks are literally more of a harm to Palestinian then to us https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/01/world/middleeast/gaza-palestinian-dead-iran-attack.html
    • Meanwhile apparently around 100 drones are on the way from Iran to Israel. If last time is any indication, they're really more of a small and especially slow nuisance that take several hours to get there, before being mostly shot down - maybe a couple will fall down in some remote area or something, but they're rather unlikely to do any actual damage.
