Another heat done in the swimming and three more :ENG athletes through. Williams 54.49 1st, Greenbank 2nd in 54.55 and McFadzean's 55.75 enough for 5th.

England out of the Women's Team Sprint. 48.358 only enough for 5th, missing out on a medal race by 3 thousandths.

Unwin wins her semifinal against :SCO Aileen McGlynn. After losing the first race by 0.139 seconds, she won the second by 0.111 and the third by 0.046. She guarantees a medal and faces :AUS Jessica Gallagher for gold

Yee then with a 50:34 to win the first gold. Wilde :NZL  silver, Hauser :AUS bronze. Dixon (52:02) 12th and Dickinson (53:40) 19th.

Never mind. She's relegated to the bronze match after the judges found a problem. She'll face :SCO Libby Clegg there
