Can't find it there though, and definitely not in a format that's as perfect as sports-reference I'm afraid that will not happen for a long while (if ever). IOC development team is really not that trustworthy. They proved it time and time again. #banbestmen

I do have faith in the people behind the actual data and stories though, so I'm not gonna give up hope yet If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! He gave me this info when we were planning the future of Totallympics Media. He joined OlyMADmen in 2008, and for a while they licensed out their data from their private Olympedia database to SR. Then the IOC bought out their data in 2016. Here’s an article about that acquisition: https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2017/02/27/Olympics/Olympedia.aspx Since then the IOC allowed allowed SR/Olympics to stay open until the new website was ready. The plan was for the IOC database to be ready by 2020, but IOC changed their digital strategy, and so there’s a been a delay. Dragon is hopeful the data will be published before Tokyo 2020 next year. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Oh my gosh I am so shocked a major federation/company/whatever changes their 'digital strategy' If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! dcro 10,172 Posted May 24, 2020 #307 Share Posted May 24, 2020 I have been reviewing some results... And apparently Mario Deslauriers could be just about the unluckiest Olympian ever. He contested 4 show jumping events in total during 1984 and 1988. In 3/4 of those events he placed 4th! Every time very close to the podium. 1984 team - 0.75 penalties away from the bronze 1984 individual - contested the jump-off for bronze 1988 team - 1.25 penalties away from the bronze #banbestmen
Federer91 2,114 Posted May 25, 2020 #308 Share Posted May 25, 2020 Is CAS working at the moment? Did everybody forget that the IOC banned Russia from competing at all major events? Now that the OG were moved to 2021 there is soooooo much time for a ruling.

Nice study: https://www.wada-ama.org/en/media/news/2020-05/wada-study-reveals-no-meaningful-link-between-tues-and-the-likelihood-of-winning https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/2020/05/06/bjsports-2020-102028 Quote Our number of TUEs is lower than that in other reports. We considered only TUEs valid between the opening and the closing of the Games. Previous papers generally considered a TUE valid if it was in force at any time after the opening of the Olympic Village, which is a few weeks earlier. No problem in that, you can be on (insert drug) for years, just stop on the opening day of the Games and we won't count you among the TUE users. mrv86
